1970 Dodge Challenger 383 4spd SUNROOF
This just in ! Another 1970 Challenger R/T Sunroof car ! This one is FC7 purple and a four speed...
With the car completely stripped apart, it's time to remove all the old undercoating and get it ready for the media blasters. This car looks pretty solid, but only blasting it will tell the truth.
Here's a couple of pictures of the VIN Sisters. Both cars were together 45 years ago, and now reunited.
With the shell ready for metal work, I'll take care of the components. They are being done along side of the red sunroof car.
Dick's Transmission has fully rebuilt the original numbers matching unit and I detailed it out with factory markings.
The shell is now in the careful hands of Keith Sim. In no time he'll have the metal worked back into perfection.
With all the metal work finished, seam sealer and sound deadener in place, it's off to Waterdown Collision so they can work their magic. Can wait to see this car wearing it's flawless coats of FC7 it was born with !
Well, the body looks brand new again. Who knew FC7 could look so good !
Hats off to the gang at Waterdown Collision for knocking another one out of the park !
With the number's matching motor freshly rebuilt by Dave Dudek, you can tell by the aluminum heads and intake that this isn't exactly stock....Amazing what all that orange paint can hide !
Assembly is moving along nicely.
This car is coded for a black vinyl top and a
white side strip. They really change the appearance of the car and make it pop !
Won't be long now...
ALL DONE !!!
